Febfix

Application:
Concentrated bonding agent for concrete, mortar and plaster.

Description:
Febfix is a concentrated bonding agent used for bonding new concrete to old. The use of Febfix can increase bond strength up to and beyond 500%. Febfix can be used for plastering over existing concrete, tiling, concrete repair patches, toppings, and other applications where an excellent bond is important. Febfix can also be used for glueing wood paper and other porous materials.

For continually damp or wet areas use Febond SBR. Febfix is brushed or sprayed on to the surface to be covered at the rate of 6 - 12 m2 per litre depending on porosity. On very porous surfaces a primer coat consisting of one part Febfix and two parts water should be applied and allowed to become touch dry before applying the bonding coat of undiluted Febfix.

This should be allowed to become tacky before applying final plaster or concrete. Febfix can be added to the mix itself at the rate of 1 - 2 litres per 40kg of cement or 0.3 to 0.5 cup per shovelful of cement.
