Febond SBR

Application:

Description:
Febond SBR is a liquid bonding compound and waterproofer. Febond SBR is especially suited to applications where water or dampness could be a problem such as in basements, pits, swimming pools, and water tanks. The use of Febond SBR provides excellent bonding and waterproofing characteristics, improving overall strength and abrasion resistance in concrete toppings, floor patches/screeds and tiling.

Febond SBR is used both in the form of a bonding slurry applied to the surface and is also added into the mix itself. Thoroughly mix 1.5 - 2 parts of cement to one part of Febond SBR and brush well into the prepared surface. Febond SBR is then added to the mix at the rate of 200 ml per 1 kg of cement. Always allow the slurry to become slightly tacky before applying Febond SBR modified concrete, but do not let it dry completely.
